This is lovely. The colors are beautiful, and that voluminous hair is so well done. The detail really makes the painting. Your whole gallery is beautiful, actually.

oh my. Now THIS is what I imagine Queen Guinevere looking like! Blonde, elegant, beautiful! I absolutely love her thick hair, and in such a wonderful hairdo. She looks somewhat evil, but that is alright ; many do not like her. Right now I am reading a book on her where she is actually likable, called "Queen of Camelot" by Nancy McKenzie. Check it out!

I also love the sepia/manuscript look of this. and the rose. and the crown is lovely. All just fantastic! :love:

I first heard of Guinevere while reading "The Mists of Avalon". You make her look a lot different from what I imagined :D She is no innocent woman in this painting: I can clearly see she knows what she wants. You portrait the spirit of a great queen, wise and fair :heart:

The hair is magnificent. It seems it's alive! :giggle: It would be nice for Arthur (or Lancelot :P) to put his hands through it, that is, if it wasn't full of knots :blackrose:

LOL ! Yes it's true that it's almost a second garment... Well, but there are inconveniences... Imagine knots in this immense hair... Or a summer in the oppressive heat o_O

hihi c'est pas faux ! J'aime bien orner mes personnages que longues chevelures, un peu comme une seconde peau, un manteau délicat... Parfois j'exagère c'est vrai ^^
